British troops in Soviet Russia


Troops from HMS Ceres involved in Britain's interventionist role in protecting white Russian army (made up of those primarily loyal to the Czar) in Russia and evacuating fleeing Russian royalty and aristocracy during the Civil War.

HMS Ceres was actively involved in the Baltic's and Black Sea in support of the White Russians

In 1919 The Hands Off Russia campaign was established to stop the British Government arming and aiding the White Russians
