The Speaker was J. C. Fuller Socialist prime minister in the Hanwell & Ealing (debating) Parliament his subject was "The work of a Socialist Parliament".
He stated that The Socialist movement had made great progress during the last few years, ten years ago they were a band of gorillas, but they had now developed into a Party.
The Hanwell and District parliament was one of the oldest and strongest institutions of its kind in London and it started with only four or five socialists and now had over sixty.
