This is a photograph of the newly opened Labour Party headquarters at 33 Eccleston Square, London SW1.
It was undoubtedly not lost on the newly emerging Labour Party that this was the former home of Winston Churchill who lived there from 1909 - 1913.
This building also served as the TUC's headquarters during the 1926 general strike.
The move to Eccleston Square was quote "pending the realisation of the larger scheme for the erection of a British Labour Party headquarters as a memorial to members of the Labour movement who have fallen in the war"
